Luxury SUV Hits 3 Vehicles, Lands Feet From Nassau Building
Officials say a driver of a BMW SUV lost control of the vehicle, hit three cars and landed feet from a building.
HICKSVILLE, NY — One person was hurt when a luxury SUV crashed into three vehicles before coming to a rest just feet from a building housing a therapy organization.
The Hicksville Volunteer Fire Department arrived at Old Country Road and Richards Street around 8:15 a.m. Sunday after receiving a report that a car crashed into a building. Firefighters found that a driver lost control of a 2020 BMW SUV on Old Country Road and careened into a car near Jerusalem Avenue. The SUV then hit a pickup truck and a second car near South Broadway, before coming to a rest just 4 feet from a building.
The driver fled was quickly apprehended by Nassau County police. One person was hurt and crews applied a rapid dry solution to fluid spills on the roadway.
