Driver Crashes Into Hicksville Restaurant
Emergency crews responded to a local restaurant Tuesday afternoon after the driver of an SUV crashed through the front entry way.
HICKSVILLE, NY — Emergency crews responded to a local restaurant Tuesday afternoon after the driver of an SUV crashed through the entrance.
Just before 4:30 p.m., crews from the Hicksville Volunteer Fire Department and Nassau County Police Department responded to a report of a car that had crashed into a building at 470 South Broadway by Rave Street, according to officials.
Once on scene, emergency crews discovered the driver a Lexus SUV had driven into the BBQ Nite Restaurant. The driver and employees were not injured, officials said.

The Building Department was called to the scene to inspect the damage to the front of the store as emergency crews cleared out the shattered glass and secured the scene of the crash.
