ICYMI: Police ID Nassau Woman Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash

HICKSVILLE, NY — A pedestrian was fatally hit by a driver Tuesday morning in Hicksville, according to Nassau County police. Gladis Bonilla, 54, of Westbury, was hit around 5:45 a.m. while crossing West John Street, near Kuhl Avenue in Hicksville, police said. She died at the scene.

The driver took off and police do not know which direction the driver went. Roads in the area were closed while authorities investigated.
