Power Line Pole Goes Down In Hicksville

HICKSVILLE, NY—A power line pole went down in Hicksville on late Wednesday night. The incident happened near the Broadway Mall.

PSEG Long Island told Patch the pole went down as a result of a car accident, and there were no outages. The area was cleared by Thursday afternoon, and the pole was replaced.

Work crews were quickly on the scene to repair the damage, and police were there to stop any drivers or pedestrians from getting too close.
