Bubba's Burrito Bar Officially Reopens Renovated Restaurant
The popular local hotspot has been closed since February for renovations.

ISLIP, NY - After a four month closure, the popular Bubba's Burrito Bar has finally reopened.
The local hotspot, located on 513 Main Street in Islip, announced the closure in February in order to renovate.
The restaurant hosted a soft opening on Monday and were welcomed back with a long line of people out the door.

"Thank you to everyone who came out, stood in the rain, waited for food, and bared with us while we attempted to get Bubba’s up and running again," a post on the Bubba's Facebook page read.
Last month the business posted on its Facebook page that they were dealing with "two minor issues" during the renovation process which delayed the opening.

On May 30, the restaurant passed the final inspection and after receiving approval from the Board of Health, was finally able to reopen this week.
However, due to the high demand of walk-in customers, Bubba's is currently not taking phone orders for the time being.
The restaurant is open from Saturday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Fridays until 10 p.m. Bubba's is closed on Sundays.
