Commack Road Second Graders Deal With 'Chair Strike'
Second graders in Jillian Bohnaker's class at Islip's Commack Road Elementary School wrote a letter to the "striking chairs" of Room 103.

When the second graders in Jillian Bohnaker’s class at Islip’s Commack Road Elementary School walked into Room 103 on May 4, they found that the chairs has gone “on strike.”

“It was awesome to see all of the different opinions and reasons the students had on whether or not we needed our chairs to return,” Bohnaker said. “After sharing our opinions, we wrote a letter trying to convince them to come back.”
