Courtyard by Marriott Hotel Set To Open in Central Islip on January 10

New Property Continues Briad Lodging Group’s Growth Strategy

Livingston, New Jersey – The 125-room Courtyard by Marriott Long Island Islip/Courthouse Complex is scheduled to open its doors in Islip, New York on January 10th.

Featuring an innovative lobby space as well as Courtyard’s latest contemporary room design, the new hotel provides flexibility and choices that allow guests to optimize and elevate their travel experience.

Located at 11 Court House Drive, the new hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by Briad Lodging Group, the hotel division of Livingston, New Jersey-based The Briad Group.

Whether traveling for business or pleasure, the Courtyard Long Island Islip/Courthouse Complex offers guests convenient access to the Cohalan Courthouse Plaza (Federal District Courthouse), Hauppauge Industrial Park, Heartland Business Park; Edgewood, Brentwood, Bay Shore, Bohemia and Ronkonkoma business districts, Islip MacArthur Airport, Westfield Mall (previously South Shore Mall), Robert Moses Beach, Tanger Outlets-Deer Park, Bethpage Ballpark and Fire Island ferries.

Marriott constantly researches trends and evolves to meet the changing needs of its guests. The latest room design offers hybrid zones for working, sleeping, relaxing and getting ready. Indirect lighting and a neutral, tone-on-tone color palette makes for a soothing and calm environment.

Briad Lodging Group’s growth plan is to develop, open and operate three to four hotels per year over the next several years.

Courtyard by Marriott will be the seventh open in the last four years. In addition to the Central Islip property, Briad recently opened two TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Cranbury and Dover, New Jersey. Construction is underway for the following hotels:

• Hilton Garden Inn, Lawrenceville NJ
• TownePlace Suites by Marriott Bridgewater / Branchburg NJ
• Homewood Suites by Hilton, Poughkeepsie NY
• AC hotel by Marriott, Bridgewater NJ
