Islip Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Gigi

BAY SHORE, NY - If you're looking for a new companion, consider starting your search at a local animal shelter like the Islip Animal Shelter. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, many pets are still looking for their forever homes and shelters are still working to fulfill adoptions.

One of their available pets is Gigi, an 11-year-old female chihuahua.

Perfect Chihuahua Alert!! This sweet little girl is GiGi, a senior chihuahua with lots of love and kisses to give. Gigi had a cancerous mammary tumor that had to be removed, she's now in the clear, all healed up, & ready to be adopted. If you're looking for the perfect little lap dog/ couch potato to watch flix with Gigi could be perfect for you! She has tested great with other dogs her size and still has plenty of play in her. Gigi is around 11yrs old and although her smile is beautiful, she will eventually need a dental done. Gigi just wants a family to take her home, love & hold her, and never give her up!
