Islip Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Meeko

BAY SHORE, NY - If you're looking for a new companion, consider starting your search at a local animal shelter like the Islip Animal Shelter. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, many pets are still looking for their forever homes and shelters are still working to fulfill adoptions.

One of their available pets is Meeko, a male 6-year-old lab mix.

This little guy is Meeko, he is a 6yr old, 30lb, m/n Lab mix looking for a family who will adopt and keep him safe. Due to unfortunate and sad circumstances his family had to give him up and he doesn't understand what he did to lose his home. He is very friendly and loves to play with toys and especially likes to play fetch! Meeko needs to be the only dog in the home.
