Islip Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Merida

BAY SHORE, NY - If you're looking for a new companion, consider starting your search at a local animal shelter like the Islip Animal Shelter. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, many pets are still looking for their forever homes and shelters are still working to fulfill adoptions.

One of their available pets is Merida, a 2 to 4-year-old female cat.

Merida is an affectionate 2-4 year old female cat who is very friendly and loves attention. She came in with her 3 kittens who have all been adopted but she was left behind. We recently found out that she has early signs of Feline Asthma. Because of this she is looking for a special owner that can manage her asthma as she gets older. As of right now she does not need any medications. She is patiently waiting for her forever home.
