Islip Restaurant Opens 2 Winter Themed Igloos

ISLIP, NY - Keeping up with the popular new seasonal trend, an Islip restaurant recently unveiled two winter themed heated igloos for guests to cozy up to this season. Maxwell’s, on 501 Main Street, have opened up the new Lodge and "Gone" Ski themed igloos located on the restaurant’s patio.

Both areas are decked out in winter decor featuring twinkling lights, fur blankets, rugs and cozy seating for up to 8 people. In addition, a special Igloo Menu will be offered featuring holiday themed cocktails and snacks.

If you want to cuddle up in one of the toasty igloos, they are available by reservation only. Reservations can be made for two hours per booking for a maximum party of eight for $150. The cost includes the first round of drinks and an exclusive Maxwell’s server for the two hour duration. Igloos are available to reserve during regular business hours at Maxwell’s.

"We are excited to kick off the holiday season with our new igloos, This fun winter trend is a perfect fit at Maxwell’s to enjoy the outdoors all winter long while still staying warm in our heated igloos," Jeanann Gilligan, manager at Maxwell’s said.
