Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band To Perform Concert In Islip

ISLIP, NY - A Jimmy Buffett tribute band will be playing in Islip on Friday night.
The event, hosted by the Islip Chamber of Commerce, will start at 8 p.m. behind Town Hall on 401 Main Street.
The 10-piece tribute band, Barometer Soup, will also be playing songs from other artists such as Zac Brown and Billy Joel.

The band has been described as as “the ultimate compilation of musicians performing as a Buffett tribute band on the east coast," according to a report in GreaterBayShore.
The free concert is open to all. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chair or blanket.

Suffolk County awarded the chamber a $5,500 grant for the live arts program which will go towards this concert and another one in the fall.
