Karp Family to Host 2nd Annual Fundraiser for #kidscantwait
Free viewing of "The Emoji Movie" to help raise funds to support the #kidscantwait initiative of Hope For Youth
Bryan Karp, a local RE/MAX realtor from Lake Grove, and The Karp Family are once again engaging their community to support a local charity on Long Island. The Karp family has reserved Ronkonkoma Regal Movie Theatres’ two largest theatres and they invite everyone to come down this Sunday, August 20 at 9:30 a.m. and enjoy a free viewing of this summer’s family-friendly film, “The Emoji Movie.” There will be concessions offered free of charge as well as fun children’s characters.
All funds raised will go to support the #kidscantwait initiative of Hope For Youth. The family will be accepting unopened packages of socks, underwear or bras for children ages 3-18 years old for donation at the event.
#kidscantwait is an initiative of Hope For Youth, one of Long Island’s preeminent providers of services for children and families. Hope For Youth strives to be the catalyst that ensures that children are surrounded by supports that promote stability, growth and health. Childhood experiences, both positive and negative, have a tremendous impact on future lifelong health and opportunities. #kidscantwait is dedicated to bringing awareness to the value of positive childhood experiences and their importance for well-being & development.
