LI High School Coach Accused Of Sexually Abusing Student: SCPD
The 25-year-old was charged with allegedly inappropriately touching the female student earlier this week, police say.

ISLIP, NY - An Islip High School baseball coach was arrested after he inappropriately touched a student at the school on Thursday night, according to Suffolk Police.
According to police, 25-year-old Tyler Murphy touched a female student at the school on Union Boulevard around 8:20 p.m.
School district officials contacted police, who arrested Murphy on Friday evening following an investigation, police said.

Murphy was charged with third degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. He will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.
It was Murphy's first year serving as Islip's JV baseball coach. He did not work with the district outside of his coaching responsibilities and will no longer serve as the JV coach, Islip school officials said Saturday.
