Man Seriously Injured In Industrial Accident In Islip
The worker became trapped between two industrial lifts while working Monday morning, police said.
ISLIP, NY — A 55-year-old man was seriously injured in an industrial accident while working in Islip Monday morning, according to Suffolk police.
The man was loading industrial lifts onto a flatbed truck in the parking lot of Sunbelt Rentals on Nassau Ave. when he became trapped between two lifts at 11:15 a.m.
He was later taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
