Officials Warn Of Possible Coronavirus Exposure At LI Restaurant

Health officials issued a warning that anyone who dined at the local eatery on Nov. 16 or 17 may have been exposed to COVID-19.

ISLIP, NY — The Suffolk County Department of Health Services issued an advisory Wednesday for an Islip restaurant that may have had a coronavirus exposure earlier this month.

Officials said that anyone who visited Tellers Restaurant at 605 Main Street on Nov. 16 or 17 may have been exposed to the coronavirus.

"This information is being shared with the public immediately upon discovery through intensive case investigation that more than one person connected with this venue has contracted the virus," the advisory states. "Those who were potentially exposed should monitor themselves for symptoms for 14 days after visiting the restaurant."
