'Threat' At Islip High School Unfounded: Police

ISLIP, NY — A "threat" made by an Islip High School student turned out to be unfounded, Suffolk County police said Friday.

Police said the student made a comment Thursday that was "perceived as a threat." School officials contacted police, who were dispatched to the school Friday.

An investigation revealed no threat was made, police said.
