Retlif Testing Laboratories Celebrates 40 Years Of Service

Ronkonkoma, NY, USA; May 2, 2018 - Retlif Testing Laboratories, a leading global strategic compliance organization headquartered in Ronkonkoma, NY, is celebrating its 40th year of operations, which will be marked with recognition events throughout 2018. Planned commemorative events will include ones focused on clients, employees and vendors. In conjunction with its milestone anniversary, Retlif President Walter Poggi announced expanded ballast wastewater testing to reduce risks associated with the spread of aquatic invasive species in USA coastal waters, lakes and rivers, as well as increased nuclear RS-105 EMP testing services. He also reaffirmed the company’s pledge to uphold the highly personalized service that has been the hallmark of Retlif Testing Laboratories since its inception.

Founded by Poggi and his wife Marilyn in 1978, Retlif provides EMC/EMI and environmental simulation testing services, approvals and certifications to clients within diverse industries, including aerospace and aviation, military, homeland security, rail, maritime, automotive, medical and consumer electronics.

“The mission of Retlif on our 40th anniversary is the same as it was in 1978,” Mr. Poggi stated. “We are strategically focused not only on the results of our testing, but also on product approvals and the expansion of our clients’ marketplaces regardless of product or industry.”

A globally recognized testing industry leader, the company grew from humble beginnings at Flowerfield in St. James, NY to multiple locations, including its state-of-the-industry headquarters and testing facility in Ronkonkoma, NY.
