Santa To Visit Islip This Weekend

ISLIP, NY — Santa is coming to Islip this weekend! The Islip Fire Department will be hosting a Santa parade with some safety regulations due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Santa's first trip to Islip will take place on Sunday. The fire department will be taking Santa to the neighborhoods on the north side of town.
Santa will be paying a visit to the rest of the community next weekend. Updates on specific times and areas will be posted to the fire department's Facebook page.

This year, members on the trucks will comply with social distancing and mask regulations. Due to COVID-19, the members of the fire department will not be throwing candy canes to the children and Santa can not come down off the fire truck to meet with the children.
