ISLIP, NY – An SUV overturned on Sunrise Highway Wednesday afternoon.
It happened around 2:20 p.m. in the westbound lanes between Commack Road and Saxon Avenue. The Islip Fire Department and Exchange Ambulance of the Islips responded to the scene.
The driver, who was able to free themselves from the SUV before authorities arrived on the scene, refused medical attention.
