Three Senior Athletes From Islip Sign For College This Fall

The students signed national letters of intent in the school's gym last week to commit to their college sports.

Three outstanding Islip High School senior student-athletes – Matthew Alexander, Dominique Prevette and Connor Ruland – signed national letters of intent in the school’s gym on Feb. 3, confirming their commitment to play college sports this fall. Alexander will join the track team at SUNY Geneseo; Prevette will play softball for Indian River State College in Fort Pierce, Florida; and Ruland will play baseball for Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry.
