June 16th, 2021 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter was joined by MacArthur Airport Commissioner Shelley Larose-Arken, Deputy Commissioner Rob Schneider and representatives from Southwest Airlines, to pick the winning raffle for two free flights to Nashville, Tennessee. The winner of the drawing was Denise Romas of Islip, New York. Ms. Romas is a music teacher in the Longwood Central School District in Brookhaven, New York.
