Town Of Islip Offers COVID-19 Vaccine Opportunity For Residents

A limited amount of residents over the age of 50 will have the opportunity to receive the coronavirus vaccine.

TOWN OF ISLIP, NY — The Town of Islip announced on Wednesday that officials have partnered with New York State to distribute a limited quantity of the coronavirus vaccines to certain residents in Brentwood.

The opportunity will only be available to Town of Islip residents over 50 years of age.

The town will be distributing the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at the Ceasar Trunzo Senior Center on 16 2nd Avenue in Brentwood.

To make an appointment, residents must e-mail vaccine@islipny.gov with the following information:

  1. Full Legal Name (as it appears on a driver’s license)
  2. Address
  3. Email Address
  4. Date of Birth
  5. Phone Number (preferably cell phone number)

Appointments are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and will not be taken over the phone. All requests must be emailed.

If you receive an appointment you will receive an email back within 24 hours with your appointment date and time.
