Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter joined with John Corrado, President, Suffolk Transportation Service and staff, in recognizing various company employees for their commitment to serving the students and public riders of Suffolk.
While this year's celebration was scaled back, the gratitude remained abundant, as company officials paid tribute to all employees for their efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Transporting students and the public riders safely each day is no small feat! Altogether, Suffolk Transportation employees celebrated over 3,000 years of service this year! Special shout out to Arlene Cannella for celebrating 40 years of service!
Among those recognized were Kathleen Pellizze – 25 years and Sharon Simon – 25 years.
