Town Officials Make Veterans’ Thanksgiving Holiday Bright

The Islip Park Ranger Association donated 12 Thanksgiving baskets to families within the community.

Nov. 23, 2020

Islip Town Councilman John C. Cochrane, Jr. recently joined with the Islip Park Ranger Association, to donate 12 Thanksgiving baskets to families within the community. Each basket contained Thanksgiving essentials, including mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, corn, gravy, spinach, mac and cheese, cranberry jelly and cookie mix. The 12 baskets were given to veterans within the community to enjoy with their families.

Councilman Cochrane was joined by Amanda Lerch, President of the Islip Park Ranger Association; Park Ranger; Tracey Giannotti and Public Safety Deputy Commissioner, Tony Prudenti.
