Traffic Advisory: Overnight Closure On Part Of Sagtikos Parkway
Drivers are advised that a portion of the road will be shut down overnight Thursday.
TOWN OF ISLIP, NY — The New York State Department of Transportation announced a full overnight closure on Sagtikos State Parkway in the Town of Islip starting Thursday. Drivers are advised that all southbound lanes will be closed between exit S3 (Pine Aire Drive) and the Southern State Parkway beginning at 11 p.m. for the overhead sign maintenance operation. The roads are expected to reopen by 2 a.m.
Vehicles will be detoured onto exit S3 to Pine Aire Drive eastbound for one mile to Fifth Avenue (Suffolk County Route 13) southbound which will bring them to the Southern State Parkway.
