Wing Students Kick Off PARP With 100th Day Disguise

The students of Islip’s Wing Elementary School kicked off this year’s Parents as Reading Partners project on the 100th day of school, celebrating by dressing as if they were 100 years old.

“The children loved coming to school dressed as centenarians and discussing how much they learned since the beginning of the school year,” said Principal Michael Giacchetto. “Wing had a great day, even though it was hard to recognize some of our students!”
