Affordable 2-Bedroom Offered For Just $1,040 In Woodside
One lucky applicant will pay $1,040 for a two-bedroom apartment at 69-17 38th Ave., city records show.

WOODSIDE, QUEENS -- A new four-story apartment complex that recently went up in Woodside will feature two affordable apartments, city records show.
Developers of the eight-unit complex at 69-17 38th Ave. opened a housing lottery for the pair of two-bedroom apartments starting at $1,040 per month, according to Housing Connect.
The unit available at that price - 60 percent of the area median income - is open to groups of two to four people earning between $35,658 and $62,580 per year, city records show.

Another two-bedroom apartment is also up for grabs in the lottery for $1,787 to the same number of people with a combined yearly income from $61,269 to $104,300.

Applicants living in New York City will be given priority in the housing lottery selection, with special preference going to Queens Community Board 2 residents; government employees; and applicants with disabilities, according to the listing.

The development includes parking and is within walking distance of the 7, M, E and R trains, city records show. Deadline to apply for the lottery is Oct. 2.
