Elizabeth Grant was convicted after the officer visited her East Elmhurst home.

EAST ELMHURST, QUEENS – A woman barred from keeping pets shoved a probation officer down a flight of stairs during a surprise visit which uncovered a home full of malnourished animals.
Elizabeth Grant was discovered with 16 animals, including cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and fish, in her feces-littered home despite being banned from keeping animals after an earlier conviction on animal cruelty charges, Acting Queens District Attorney Jogn M. Ryan said Friday
The find was made when the probation officer made an early morning unannounced visit to the East Elmhurst home of Grant, 51, to verify her address in August 2018.
