Astoria Heights Man Arrested For 23 Burglaries Across Queens
Police have arrested an Astoria Heights man for robbing 23 stores across western and central Queens in the last month.

EAST ELMHURST, QUEENS — Police have arrested an Astoria Heights man for nearly two dozen robberies across western and central Queens.
Mark Tortora, 33, is under arrest in connection with 23 store burglaries between July 16 and Aug. 23, according to a police spokesperson.
Tortora faces charges of burglary, grand larceny, possession of stolen property, unauthorized use of a vehicle, petit larceny, reckless endangerment and unlawfully fleeing from a police officer in a motor vehicle, police said Wednesday.
