Off-Duty Firefighter Arrested For Drunk Driving In Queens: Cops
An off-duty FDNY firefighter was arrested for drunk driving after police spotted him speeding through East Elmhurst at 100 miles an hour.
EAST ELMHURST, QUEENS — An off-duty firefighter was arrested early Monday for drunk driving after police spotted him speeding through East Elmhurst at 100 miles an hour, according to a news report.
Police hit FDNY firefighter David Fung, 27, with DWI charges and a speed violation after they pulled him over by Grand Central Parkway and 27th Avenue about 2 a.m., according to an NYPD spokesperson and a PIX11 report.
Fung was driving at twice the local speed limit of 50 miles per hour, according to PIX11.

Police said Fung had a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent, which is the legal limit in New York.
