Man Fatally Stabbed In Elmhurst: NYPD

Cops patrolling the area witnessed the man cry out and fall to the ground after he was stabbed in the neck and torso.

ELMHURST, QUEENS -- Cops are searching for the suspect who stabbed a 22-year-old man to death in Elmhurst on Wednesday evening.

Cops were patrolling the area near 57 Avenue and 92 Street at around 8 p.m. when they heard the man cry out and saw him fall to the ground.

When the officers ran over to investigate, they discovered the man had been stabbed in his neck and torso, police said.

Medics rushed the man to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Cops are withholding the man's name until his family is notified.

No arrests have been made in the stabbing.
