NYC Subway Delays: 4 Lines Hit By Signal Problem
The MTA warned of delays on the E, F, M and R lines Tuesday morning.

JACKSON HEIGHTS, NY — A single signal problem in Queens slowed commutes on four subway lines Tuesday morning. The MTA warned of delays on the E, F, M and R lines because of the issue at Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue.
The problem also forced southbound E and F trains to run local from Forest Hills-71st Avenue to Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue, the MTA said.
Trains on the 7 line were separately delayed after someone needing medical assistance got help at Court Square, the agency said.

Straphangers took to Twitter to complain about long commutes, which followed a Monday morning rush hour in which 12 lines saw delays and service changes.
"Would have preferred to know this before I left so that I could leave 2 hours before class instead of my usual hour and a half before class," Meira Nagel tweeted.
