Perps Slash Man In Jackson Heights Robbery Attempt: NYPD
The two men attacked a 22-year-old after he wouldn't hand over his cash and cellphone, cops said.

JACKSON HEIGHTS, QUEENS -- Police are searching for two perps who slashed a 22-year-old man in Jackson Heights when he wouldn't hand over his valuables.
The man was standing near 97th Street and 37th Avenue at around 2:20 a.m. on July 5 when the two walked up to him and demanded he give them his cellphone and cash, cops said.
When he refused, one of the men pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the chest and back, authorities said. The two ran away empty handed, heading east on 37th Street, police said.

The man was sent to Flushing Hospital, where he was treated and released.
The NYPD caught one of the perps on surveillance camera before the attack at the northwest corner of 98th Street and 37th Avenue.
