NYC's Most Popular Uber Destination Is This Queens Spot

ELMHURST, QUEENS — The results are in: New York City's most popular destination among Uber riders is the Queens Center Mall, the ride-share company said Tuesday.

The Queens Center Mall beat out the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Brooklyn's Kings Plaza Mall for 2019's top spot, according to Uber spokesperson Alix Anfang.

Located just east of Queens Boulevard in Elmhurst, the Queens Center Mall claims to draw nearly 27 million shoppers a year, according to its website.

"I drop off maybe six to seven times a day here," Uber driver Vicky Singh, 23, told the New York Post outside the mall Tuesday.

Uber did not release statistics on how many riders used the transportation service to get to the Queens Center Mall, compared to other locations in the city.
