Water Main Break Causes Flooding, Subway Delays In Queens
Passengers can expect delays on E, F, M and R trains after water got onto the tracks in the Jackson Heights-Roosevelt station, the MTA said.

JACKSON HEIGHTS, QUEENS -- A water main break in Queens is causing subway delays after flooding a busy intersection along 74th Street and Broadway.
The break, which happened early Friday morning in Jackson Heights, halted M train service in both directions between Forest Hills-71 Ave and Essex Street stations, after water went into the tracks at the Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Station, the MTA said.
Passengers can also expect delays on the E, F, and R trains.

The New York City Department of Environmental Protection is on the scene and working to fix the break as quickly as possible, the MTA said.
71 Av-bound M and R trains are express from Queens Plaza to Roosevelt Av because of water on the tracks caused by a water main break.
