19-Year-Old Woman Dies In Livery Cab Crash In Jamaica: NYPD
A livery cab passenger has died after a Mercedes Benz sped through a red light and crashed into the car late Thursday night, police say.

JAMAICA, QUEENS -- A 19-year-old livery cab passenger has died after a gruesome crash late Thursday night, police said
The livery cab, a blue 2015 Hyundai, was on Archer Avenue at around 11 p.m. that night when a white 2018 Mercedes Benz sped through a red light on Guy R. Brewer Boulevard and slammed into the car's passenger side, cops said.
Gabriella Nuel, the 19-year-old woman riding in the backseat, was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where she died later that night, authorities said.

Two other men in the livery cab - the 28-year-old driver and a 23-year-old passenger - were also sent to the hospital for injuries not considered life-threatening. They are both listed in stable condition.
The 20-year-old Mercedez driver was taken into custody, and charges are pending. He was not injured in the crash.
