2 Queens Men Win Combined $19.5M In New York Lottery: Report
The Quick Pick and scratch-off ticket winners collected their prizes at Resorts World Casino NYC in Ozone Park on Wednesday, QNS reported.

OZONE PARK, QUEENS -- Two Queens men hit the jackpot when they each picked out winning New York Lottery tickets that ended up being worth a combined $19.5 million.
Recent lottery winners Luigi Macchione, 49, and Andres Chung, 35, collected their prizes at Resorts World Casino New York City in Ozone Park on Wednesday after both won big on their tickets - Macchione with the $9.5 million Quick Pick jackpot and Chung with a $10 million grand prize off a scratch-off, QNS reported.
Macchione told the news outlet he played the lottery twice a week for 20 years before buying his winning $1 Quick Pick ticket from a JR Auto Services on St. Nicholas Place in Manhattan on May 30.

The ticket was for that night's drawing, but Macchione didn't check to see if he won until days later, QNS reported.
“I scanned the ticket on June 2 and the machine kept beeping saying I had a big winner,” Macchione told the outlet.

He won the $9.5 million jackpot with the numbers 1-25-36-40-56-57 and opted to receive his entire prize in one payment. Once all is said and done, he'll receive a net check of $3,872,793, according to QNS. Macchione told the outlet he plans to invest his winnings for an early retirement.
“I still can’t believe it,” he said.
Meanwhile, Chung struck it rich when he stopped for breakfast at the Flushing Mini Food Market and decided to buy a $30 "10,000,000 Cash" scratch-off ticket, according to QNS. Chung told the outlet he hadn't even made it to his car when he realized he won the $10 million grand prize.
“I scratched it and then ran to the car," he told QNS. "I must have sat there just staring at it for 30 or 40 minutes.”
Chung also opted to receive his winnings in a lump sum, which will total to $6,330,400 with taxes taken out, QNS reported. He plans to put the money toward buying "a nice house."
