70-Year-Old Man Punched By Stranger On Subway, NYPD Says

The man was punched in the face aboard a Manhattan-bound E train, police say.

JAMAICA, QUEENS -- Cops are searching for the person who punched a 70-year-old man in the face on a subway in Queens.

The elderly man was riding a Manhattan-bound E train on the morning of Dec. 16 when he was punched in the face during a stop inside the Sutphin Boulevard subway station in Jamaica, police said.

NYPD released surveillance photos on Thursday of the suspect, who cops described as a man in his late 20s standing at approximately 5'8" with an injury to his right eye.
