Armed Duo Sought For Back-To-Back Stickups In South Richmond Hill

The two perps are wanted for robbing three people at gunpoint in the same day, police said.

SOUTH RICHMOND HILL, QUEENS -- An armed duo is on the run after they allegedly forced three people to hand over their cell phones in two Queens robberies reported less than an hour apart, police said Tuesday.

The two perps pulled a gun out on a 49-year-old man and a pair of teens in both of the Aug. 19 stickup, which happened within a half-mile of each other in South Richmond Hill, cops said.

The first robbery was reported just before 10:30 p.m. near 103rd Avenue and 120th Street. The pair pulled a gun on the man before running off with his cell phone and wallet, authorities said.

In another stickup reported less than 30 minutes later, they threatened two teens - ages 14 and 16 - with the gun on 122nd Street near 107th Avenue and demanded their valuables, police said. The perps took both boys' cell phones before bolting in an unknown direction.

The NYPD released surveillance photos of the two suspects, both of whom are estimated to be in their twenties. One was last seen wearing a black shirt with orange pants and the other in a burgundy sweatshirt with jean shorts.
