Off-Duty FDNY EMT Dies In Queens Motorcycle Crash, Police Say

The 25-year-old Queens man lost control of his motorcycle and slammed into a Fresh Meadows home, authorities said.

FRESH MEADOWS, QUEENS -- An off-duty FDNY paramedic was killed in a motorcycle crash in Queens late Sunday night, police said.

Eric Maleh, 25, was driving his 2000 Harley Davidson motorcycle north on Utopia Parkway just before 10:30 p.m. when he swerved in front of another car and lost control near 80th Drive, cops said.

The Queens man slammed his motorcycle into the front of a Fresh Meadows home, where cops later found him lying unconscious in the roadway, authorities said.

Maleh was rushed to NYC Health + Hospital/Queens where he later died.

An investigation into his death is ongoing.
