Get Your Healthy On At The Nourish Spot

New healthy food haven opens in Southeast Queens

Anew juice, smoothies and salad bar, The Nourish Spot , has opened in Jamaica, Queens on the iconic Guy R. Brewer Boulevard. It's no secret that many residents of urban communities find themselves beset with preventable ailments like high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity and diet plays a great role. In fact, studies show that this zip code has some of the highest incidences of those illnesses. Most urban communities have bodegas on every corner full of processed food. While bodegas are necessary, community residents need healthy options and The Nourish Spot offers fresh natural fruit and vegetable juice, smoothies, salads, yogurt parfaits and oatmeal full of vitamins, minerals and important nutrients.

Established by Dawn Kelly and her daughter, Jade Duncan, The Nourish Spot aims to provide residents of the Jamaica, Queens community and beyond with healthier but tasty beverage and salad options.

Located at 107-05 Guy T Brewer Blvd, The Nourish Spot is accessible by Q111, and Q113 buses. We are also located 4 blocks from Jamaica Avenue and 2 blocks from York College/CUNY.
