She was reportedly the cousin and godsister of 14-year-old Aamir Griffin, who died on Oct. 26 after he was hit by a stray bullet while practicing basketball at the Baisley Park Houses. She had once lived with Griffin's family and moved back in with them to comfort them after his slaying, the New York Daily News reported.
