Jamaica Man Found Shot Dead On Side Of Long Island Road: Police

ROOSEVELT, NY — A Jamaica man was found dead of a gunshot wound along Long Island's Meadowbrook Parkway, according to New York State Police.

Road workers discovered the body of 37-year-old James Graham Monday morning off the parkway's southbound ramp to exit M7 West for Babylon Turnpike, state police said.

His body had been wrapped in a tarp and dumped in a wooded area on the side of the road.

Police officers identified the man several days later.
