Rapper Kanye West brought his gospel choir to the Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral​ in Jamaica for Sunday service, according to reports.

JAMAICA, QUEENS — Rapper Kanye West brought his gospel choir to the Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral in Jamaica for Sunday service, reports say.
The Grammy-winning artist brought his Sunday Service group, made up of a 150-person gospel choir accompanied by nine musicians, to the Queens church for an hourlong performance Sunday, according to Newsday.
West's wife, Kim Kardashian, was among the 2,500-some congregants in attendance, Newsday reported.

The performance came ahead of the release of West's new album, "Jesus Is King," which takes its inspiration from gospel music, according to Rolling Stone.
Fans got a preview of the new album and an accompanying documentary film on his Sunday Service series at a performance in Washington Heights later that day.
