Man Shot Dead In Queens And Dumped Near Yonkers Overpass: NYPD
A man whose bullet-ridden body was found nearly two weeks ago in Yonkers was actually murdered in Queens, police said Friday.

JAMAICA, QUEENS -- A man whose bullet-riddled body was dumped near a Yonkers overpass nearly two weeks ago was actually murdered more than 20 miles away in Queens, police said Friday.
Yonkers police found Brian Brain, 34, dead with gunshot wounds to his head and torso along the New York Thruway near the Tuckahoe Road exit on July 16 at around 8:30 a.m.
Investigators determined that Brain, who lived in Springfield Gardens on Guy. R Brewer Boulevard, was shot dead in a home just around the corner on 177th Street the day before his body was found, police said.

The case has been turned over to the NYPD, and no arrests have been made.
