Police are still looking for the dollar van driver who hurt 12 passengers after he slammed into a light pole in St. Albans last month.

ST. ALBANS, QUEENS —Police are still looking for the dollar van driver who hurt 12 passengers after he slammed into a light pole in St. Albans last month.
The van driver crashed into a pole at the corner of Farmers and Linden Boulevards about 2:30 p.m. on May 16, injuring 12 passengers, an FDNY spokesman said.
The driver got out of the car — a 2008 Ford SUV — and ran away, according to police.

Twelve passengers suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Police did not release the victims' names but said they ranged in age from 18 to 53 years old.
There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
