QUEENS — A second man was arrested this weekend for helping a Delta Airlines worker steal a bag full of $258,000 in cash at JFK Airport, according to federal prosecutors.
Springfield Gardens resident Emmanuel Asuquo Okon, 33, faces federal charges for helping a Delta ramp worker smuggle the bag of money out of the airport last week, according to a criminal complaint filed in the Eastern District of New York.
The Delta employee, Quincy Thorpe, was arrested Thursday for nabbing the bag of cash as he scanned and loaded bags onto a flight due for Miami, court records show.

The cash, which belonged to a security company, was reported missing after the plane landed.
Security footage shows Thorpe putting the bag of cash into a luggage trailer attached to a car instead of loading it onto the flight, then driving to meet Okon in an airport parking lot, FBI agent Robert Carasiti testified.
