JAMAICA, QUEENS — The city will make a stretch of Remington Street one-way in an effort to cut down on traffic and make Jamaica's streets safer.

The NYC Department of Transportation this month is converting the two-way section of Remington Street between Liberty Avenue and Lakewood Avenue to a one-way roadway heading south.

There have been four injuries on that section of Remington Street so far this year, according to the city's Vision Zero data.
