Richmond Hill Man Guilty Of Raping 14-Year-Old Girl: DA
The teen begged the man not to rape her when a friend who owed him money blackmailed her into having sex with him instead, prosecutors said.

RICHMOND HILL, QUEENS -- A Queens man faces years behind bars after he was convicted of raping a 14-year-old girl who was blackmailed into having sex with him, prosecutors said Monday.
Jurors delivered a guilty verdict late Friday night for Albert Premnauth, 24, of Richmond Hill, who was accused of forcing himself on the teen 10 years his junior in 2016, despite her crying "and literally begging not to be raped," said Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.
An 18-year-old man who allegedly owed Premnauth money for marijuana sent the teen girl to pay off his debt with sex instead after getting ahold of a nude photo she sent to another 14-year-old friend, according to the charges.

When that friend shared the nude photo with him, he threatened to post it all over the internet if she didn't have sex with Premnauth, the charges state.
They arranged for the teen girl to meet up with Premnauth on Feb. 20, 2016, at his Jamaica Avenue home, where she tearfully pleaded with him to give her time to pay back the money the other man owed him, prosecutors said.

But Premnauth refused and forced her to have sex with him, handing her her $100 in cash and a pair of Beats by Dre headphones afterwords. She turned both over to the 18-year-old man, who sold the headphones to repay Premnauth, prosecutors said.
After a weeklong trial, a jury found Premnauth guilty of rape, criminal sexual act and endangering the welfare of a child. His sentencing is set for July 18.
Premnauth faces up to seven years in prison and, upon his release, will be required to register as a sex offender.
